GBHA Junior Club

The focus of the Georgian Bay Hunters and Anglers Junior Club is for youth “to find their place in the outdoors.” In addition to conservation projects, the members are mentored in traditional outdoor activities such as archery, fishing, firearms & range safety, target shooting, hunting skills & knowledge, survival skills, wild game calling and shotgun shooting.

The Georgian Bay Hunters and Anglers Junior Club is based out of Midland and was established in 2001 to engage youth in traditional outdoor activities and conservation projects within the community. Our membership consists of youth under the age of 21 years old. Our members come not just from Midland but all over Simcoe County. We have a membership cap of 45 members, and we always have a waiting list of eager participants. If you are looking for something fun and unique the engage youth in Midland, Penetang, Tay or the surrounding area contact GBHA and inquire about the Junior Club! We usually host one event per month so youth have plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy the great outdoors!

Our youth members have received a multitude of awards. It is their commitment to conservation and the outdoors. Conservation projects include annual tree planting, Pitch In projects, stream restoration, invasive species eradication, wood duck box building and follow-up, building birdhouses and bird feeders.

Don't hesitate to contact us if you are interested in joining our club.
